I don't think I ever said the Bears would be a bad team, in fact, I picked them to finish 9-7 which is about the nicest prediction I have seen. Since you seem to think Lovie is a good coach, tell me why I am wrong to totally disagree with you?

so you think this will work better than NASCAR's "Chase for the Championship" how? any attempt to force desire or interest into a system only ever backfires. Just adding 2 games alone changes the equation of how many a team needs to win division, get home-field, or grab a wild-card. Terrible teams don't deserve to be there and throwing up a second chance isn't fair to the teams that are at least mediocre. Like wise if you have an undefeated team through 14 games you are telling me that a 10 win team could take homefield from them with 1 win?

I agree, Tommie will have a good season. Peppers will really make him more effective. Both players will help the secondary.
Anderson and Izzy will do well. Gilbert, Harrison, Melton, and the cbs need to excell. My goal would be to have a great season, and the unload Tommie for a 3rd round pick in '11.

I think people expect quite a bit more than the very little you are projecting. I hope he has a monster year and the team has agreat season. Then I'd trade Harris for a 3rd in '11. I go after Allen Bailey in the first. Unless Harrison, Melton, and Gilbert bust out
